Description
The Dell G5 15 5500 is a mid-range 15.6-inch gaming laptop from 2020, built on Intel 10th-generation H-series processors with NVIDIA graphics up to an RTX 2070 Max-Q and fast display options up to 300Hz. A step up from the G3, it offers stronger gaming performance and upgrade-friendly internals at a still-affordable price.
Upgrade Path
Two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots support up to 32GB of replaceable RAM (DDR4-2933), and storage can be expanded via the M.2 NVMe SSD (many configurations also include a 2.5-inch drive bay). The discrete GPU is soldered and not upgradeable.
