Description
Nobara is a Fedora-based Linux distribution optimized for gaming, streaming, and content creation, maintained by Thomas "GloriousEggroll" Crider. It takes a standard Fedora desktop and adds preinstalled GPU drivers, multimedia codecs, gaming tools like Steam, Proton, Lutris, and Wine, and a custom patched kernel — removing most of the manual setup Fedora normally needs for gaming. It aims to be an approachable, out-of-the-box gaming OS for newcomers and enthusiasts alike.
